On 15th day of September 2016 in Khartoum, a contract for Rehabilitation Program for Sand Filters Units and Establishment of Automation and SCADA System for Filters Operation in AL-Mogran Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Khartoum City, signed between The Ministry of Infrastructure of Khartoum State , Khartoum State Water Corporation, under FIDIC’s terms and conditions of the EPC projects.
This modification and renovation will improve the capacity of the plant from current 70% to 100% up to 100,000 m3/day and will improve the quality of the filtered water extremely with simple and fully automatic backwash system.
