On September 15, 2016, in Khartoum, a contract was signed for the Rehabilitation Program of the Jebel Awlia Water Treatment Plant (WTP) between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Khartoum State and the Khartoum State Water Corporation, under FIDIC’s terms and conditions.
This Rehabilitation Program will renew various components, including the pneumatic system, pinch valves, chlorination unit, filter and pulsator units, electrical panels, and damaged parts in pumps and valves, after 10 years of operation.
