In July 2010, OMRAB finalized a contract for the procurement and construction of the Omidieh Crude Oil concrete storage tanks. The project is currently under construction, with a total contract period of three years.
The scope of work includes the procurement, installation, operation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment, along with the construction of two 500,000-barrel concrete storage tanks.
The treatment process involves various systems and equipment, including process pumps, firefighting pumps, oily water pumps, foam pumps, safety systems, nitrogen supply, mixers, air-assisted flares, oily water separation systems, strippers, power transformers, LV and MV systems, emergency diesel generators, telecommunication systems, cathodic protection, and the construction of two 500,000-barrel concrete storage tanks.
