OMRAB Canada Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Ghana, specifically with the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation and Ghana Water Company, for the financing and implementation of the WEIJA Rehabilitation and Expansion Water Supply Project. This project will draw water from the Weija Dam to serve the Greater Accra Region, with a capacity of 100,000 m³/day. It includes a 30 km transmission line and a 700 km distribution network. The project will be executed as an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Financing (EPCF) turnkey project, co-financed through a credit facility provided by the Export Development Bank of Iran (EDBI) and OMRAB Canada Inc.
